As we draw close the end of January, many of us have or are on the verge of giving up on our New Years Resolutions, revisit them and see if you can amend them slightly to help keep going.
Take it down a notch
You may be struggling as you have done too much too soon, one of our earlier blogs suggested doing four 30-minute sessions in a week or even eight 15-minute sessions. If this seems hard in your already hectic schedule perhaps try some of the following to help increase your heart rate.
Cut your journey short
If you take public transport, perhaps walk on another stop to get you transport, get off a stop earlier and walk the rest of the way, you will be amazed at how much this can get your heart pumping without adding much time to your journey’s
Take the stairs
If you work in a large office or live in flats, take the stairs instead of the lift. It also is the same if you are out and about, take the stairs, all these steps mount up.
Use the supermarket

Take advantage of your lunch breaks

Exercise in front of the TV
